On 12 October 2019, Techfine and Nexgen Energy  conducted a training for 64 Nigerian technicians, engineers, electricians and business owners on inverter/solar installation and repairs. The training is part of the two companies’ contribution to the growth and development of the Nigerian energy sector in particular, and economy in general.
Since 2009 when the Techfine brand of inverters, batteries and UPS  entered the Nigerian market, consumers of energy products and stakeholders in the sector have recorded huge success with installations and expected outputs for solar energy systems.
The brand is notable among various stakeholders in the value chain of the power industry for its ruggedness, quality and flexibility in use. The training is an added offering to the Nigerian market and is aimed at creating jobs in the solar energy value chain without compromising the quality of the brand.
In the last more than 2 decades, Nigeria—Africa’s largest economy has been hit by power cuts due to insufficient generation from the hydro and thermal plants. The evolution of the solar powered generators in Nigerian homes has brought a lot of succour to the country.
Ezinne Ibe, a partner with Nexgen Energy says Techfine  products’ prices are competitive and spare parts are readily available in the market.”
“Today, Techfine is organizing free training on Installation and repairs of solar inverter systems for installers and dealers, to strengthen and build capacity of practitioners in the industry,” she added.
Techfine seeks to promote the quality of services offered in the industry and is taking this initiative to push the boundaries.
The training is the first in the series of various capacity building sessions that will be targeted at building the capacities of service providers in the solar industry.
